Casco tropicale tedesco in feltro JHS

Original period manufacture. Olive brown wool felt body with a clear makers initials on the leather sweatband, JHS.

On the underside of the sweatband it is size marked  and dated . The original chinstrap is intact, as are both original metal shields.

The leather edge binding is scuffed in places but overall quite sound. A nice and original  helmet overall which is not crushed or broken.
