Paolo Caccia Dominioni (Nerviano, May 14, 1896 - Rome, August 12, 1992) was an Italian soldier, 
partisan, engineer and writer, in this book he recounts the period of partisan struggle that 
saw him protagonist during the Second World War.

Fighter in the First World War in the Ethiopian War and in the Second World War where he took 
part in the Russian Campaign and then with the Guastatori Genius attached to the Folgoe in El Alamein.
