The ID card is considered the essence of belonging to a group, membership 
was the declaration of belonging. It is true that it was often an obligation 
or a personal interest that pushed a person to join a Party or an Association
 but for many the card was the answer to a call. The cards can be political
 or associative or professional, in this sector of the catalog you can find
 cards of all kinds and different ideologies, Fascist, Communist, Partisan,
 Associative, Catholic, Italian and foreign sports.

Some municipalities, some very rare, such as those of the Social Republic 
or the Partisan ones pre April 1945.

Then there are the "Personal Booklets" or Soldbuch as it is written in German,
 booklets in which the characteristics, the weapon they belong to, the tasks
 and decorations received by the various soldiers are reported.
