6th Infantry Division "Legnano" arm shield, wide rim model

The "Legnano" Infantry Division was established on February 8, 1934 for the transformation 
of the 6th Milan Territorial Military Division. It is made up of the 7th and 8th Infantry 
Regiment "Cuneo" and the 67th Infantry Regiment "Palermo" and the 27th Artillery Regiment. 
In 1939 the Command and some Regiments merged into the "Cuneo" Division, while the "Legnano" 
Infantry Division was joined by the 67th, 68th Infantry Regiments and the 58th Artillery Regiments.
