Original bayonet designed for the Ross rifle (Model 1905), used by British/Imperial forces and the Commonwealth Dominions in the early decades of the 20th century. Made with a steel blade and a specific Ross attachment system, it shows signs of use and a natural period patina that attest to its authenticity. The grip and guard are well preserved, with normal abrasions and traces of oxidation consistent with its age. The leather scabbard with the classic reddish color is in excellent condition. A rare and historic piece, highly prized by collectors of military bladed weapons and scholars of World War I armaments. Ideal for display or addition to thematic collections.
