The Fire Bomb was a fire-fighting system developed in the early 1930s. It was essentially a large ball of extinguishing agent that, when thrown into a flame or attached to beams or the ceiling, exploded with heat, eliminating oxygen and covering the flames with a special powder. Various sizes were available, depending on whether they were intended for residential or industrial use. Attached is a photo of its presentation at the Milan Trade Fair in 1935.
