Flame Pennant March on Rome 6th Team "LA SERENISSIMA" "A NOI", splendid flame of a fascist team embroidered in silk thread on a black silk base. The embroidered names are of two Fascists who fell for the Revolution: Italo Tinazzi was named after a Legion of Young Fascists in Verona, and (Gian) Vittore Mezzomo was killed by the Royal Carabinieri during the Cittadella events, an armed clash between a group of Fascists from the provinces of Padua, Bassano del Grappa, Castelfranco Veneto, and the Carabinieri of the Cittadella station on May 8, 1921.
Three Fascists died: Angelo Bragadin, Giovanni Battista Fumei, and (Gian) Vittore Mezzomo.
The regime paid tribute to the fallen squad members in subsequent years: Mezzomo was awarded an honorary degree by the University of Padua on May 31, 1926, as "Fallen for the cause of the revolution."
Aula K in the Palazzo del Bo at the same university was also named after Mezzomo.
The galiard comes from the famous Brisone collection of Valenza
