Interesting original vintage badge, a pin with a leather-covered metal base and an internal scroll reading: "1st National Assembly of the National Republican Party."

The Verona Congress of the Republican Fascist Party was held from November 14 to 15, 1943, at Castelvecchio in Verona.

The atmosphere surrounding the Congress was rather tumultuous, as everything had to be decided or at least "refounded": "Federals like the one in Forlì are wondering who will lead Italy: a government assembled who knows how, or the party." At the Congress, however, the 18 points of the Verona Manifesto were presented, which announced socialization and a general anti-bourgeois shift in the Italian economy and society. The Congress attracted hundreds of delegates representing approximately 250,000 members. Mussolini was absent, but a statement from him was read, consisting primarily of a greeting to the participants. The meeting was chaired by PFR Secretary Alessandro Pavolini.
