The 1943 Assault Glider Honor Badge, an unusual badge for aviation heraldry.
The badge is extremely rare; in fact, only 11 pilots received the badge before the fall of the Fascist regime in July 1943. However, the unit remained operational on Lake Maggiore even during the RSI, with aircraft supplied by the Luftwaffe.
One of the pilots lived in Parma until a few years ago.
