Stunning and extremely rare Badge of Honor from the POLA Battalion of the 10th MAS Flotilla.
The POLA Battalion was composed primarily of Italians and volunteers from the town of Pola and the surrounding area. It had an extremely high casualty rate, and very few managed to escape to Italy from Istria.
The badge in question is in perfect condition, with a repair and subsequent re-welding of the pin clip.
Perfect enamel.
Exceptional patina and light signs of use.
