Extremely rare disassembly key for SS SA NSKK daggers made by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen.

The key is used to unscrew the hex screw/bolt that secures the upper guard; it is an essential accessory to avoid damaging it. It's often the case that pliers are used to unscrew the screw and check the blade tang, risking damaging the edge of the screw; in this case, the key is used directly on the base of the screw.

The key is marked with the classic Eickhorn squirrel symbol. In theory, it should only be used for SS SA NSKK daggers produced by Eickhorn, but with care, it can also be used for those from other manufacturers.
