Adrian M16 aluminum helmet for the Armed Forces Association in the 1920s and 1930s. These helmets were produced for demonstrations, rallies, and military parades. Being made of aluminum, they could be worn by veterans or during sentry duty at the sentry post.

They usually had a fabric, silk, or cotton inner liner, or, as in this case, a simple fabric or leather headband.

Some also featured specialty insignia on the front, but most were anonymous.
