Commemorative medal of the annexation of the Sudetenland (Sudetenland-Medaille) by the Third Reich, instituted on October 1, 1938. The medal is made of bronze with a gold finish and depicts two male figures, one breaking his chains, standing on a pedestal with the Nazi eagle. It comes with its original black and orange ribbon. The award expired on December 1, 1939, with a total of over 1.1 million medals distributed.
