Commemorative Medal for the Death of Ettore Muti, 1943  2003 

Ettore Muti, born Muty (Ravenna, May 22, 1902 – Fregene, August 24, 1943), was an Italian soldier, aviator, and politician. He participated in the First World War and the Fiume Expedition, in the initiatives of the Action Squads, and in Fascism from the movement's inception. He subsequently held numerous positions, including Secretary of the National Fascist Party from October 1939 to October 28, 1940.

A recipient of the Gold Medal for Military Valor and a man of action, he fought in the First World War, the wars in Ethiopia and Spain, and the Second World War, where he was killed in circumstances that are not entirely clear about a month after the fall of Fascism.
