Designed for the M1 Carbine, the M4 bayonet was officially issued in 1944.
The same bayonet was use during the early days of the Vietnam war.
This bayonet was produced by the company, Conetta, which produced
the M4 bayonet and other knives during WWII and for a period after the war.
Bayonet, with its 6 3/4 in. Parkerized blade and its USM8A1 scabbard are in excellent condition.
